Candy Corn Cocktails

Candy Corn Cocktails... because what's a holiday without a drink or two?

I wanted to infuse a liquor with candy corn, to see how it would taste and orange vodka seemed to work out the best. It also makes the vodka this nice rich orange color, which is great for Halloween.

I put about a cup of candy corns in a mason jar with three cups of Orange Flavoured Vodka and let sit overnight. Well, it was really more than 24 hours since I was busy, but just leaving it overnight would be plenty of time to infuse the vodka.
The candy corn sort of melt and dissolve into the vodka, and little bits of grossness float to the top, so just strain it with a cheese cloth after letting it sit over night.

Then I did one part Vodka to Two Parts Gingerale, a little spalsh of lemon juice to counter the sweetness of the candy corn vodka, and voila! A Halloween cocktail.
DELISH!! :)

  1. This looks great. A few months ago I infused vodka with home grown: raspberries, strawberries and rhubarb. This vodka recipe intrigues me. Thanks for sharing.
